How to Delete Your Data from كومنتات

If you wish to delete your data from كومنتات, please follow these steps:

1. Open the كومنتات app on your device.
2. Tap on "My Account" in the bottom navigation bar.
3. Tap the gear icon (⚙️) in the top right corner to open Settings.
4. Scroll down and tap on "Privacy & Data".
5. Tap on "Delete My Data".
6. Read the information about data deletion carefully.
7. If you're sure you want to proceed, tap "Confirm Data Deletion".
8. You may need to enter your password or go through additional authentication steps.

Types of Data Deleted:

• Profile information (name, email, phone number)
• Posts and comments
• Likes and follows
• Message history
• App usage data
• Device information
• Approximate location data

Data Retention:

After your data deletion request:

• Most of your personal data will be deleted immediately.
• Some data may be retained for up to 30 days for technical reasons (e.g., server backups).
• We may retain certain information for a limited time to:
• Comply with legal obligations
• Resolve disputes
• Prevent fraud or abuse
• Enforce our terms of service
• This retained data is not used for any other purpose and is deleted after the necessary retention period.

Please note: Deleting your data is permanent and cannot be undone. This process will also delete your account.

If you're unable to access the app or prefer an alternative method, you can request data deletion by emailing our support team at privacy@commentat.net. Please use the subject line "Data Deletion Request" and include the email address or phone number associated with your account.
